Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d)

About the role

BASF Agricultural Solutions Belgium is hiring a Senior HR Business Partner in Gent. You will act as a trusted advisor and coach for leadership teams on all HR, leadership and personnel matters, working closely with a diverse team and with leadership to drive strategic initiatives in a matrix organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coach leadership teams on HR, leadership and personnel matters and drive high-impact HR initiatives
• Build strong relationships with a broad network of senior business and HR stakeholders
• Translate an understanding of the business context into a pragmatic HR action plan and advise leaders
• Follow employees through their career lifecycle, such as onboarding, internal mobility, personal development and exit
• Analyse HR data and HR-related requests critically, identifying underlying needs and offering strategic solutions
• Foster cultural awareness and mediate in a diverse, multicultural environment

Required profile

• Master's degree and at least 10 years of HR experience in a global, matrix-driven organisation
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Proven ability to prioritise and work at both strategic and operational levels
• Strong conceptual thinking, insight-led decision-making and the ability to challenge leadership constructively
• Interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence across cultures
