Senior HR Business Partner (m/f/d)

About the role

BASF Agricultural Solutions Belgium is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner in Gent. You will act as a trusted advisor and coach for leadership teams on all HR, leadership and personnel matters, work closely with a diverse team and engage intensively with leadership to drive strategic initiatives within a matrix organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor and coach of leadership teams on HR, leadership and personnel matters
• Drive high-impact HR initiatives and encourage leaders to think and act strategically on critical people topics
• Build strong relationships with a broad network of senior business and HR stakeholders
• Translate insights into the business context into a pragmatic HR action plan and advise leaders accordingly
• Follow up employees throughout their career lifecycle (onboarding, internal mobility, personal development, exit)
• Analyse HR data and HR-related requests critically, identify underlying needs and propose strategic solutions
• Foster cultural awareness and act as a mediator in a diverse, multicultural environment

Required profile

• Master's degree and at least 10 years of HR experience in a global, matrix-driven organisation
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Proven ability to prioritise and work at both strategic and operational levels
• Strong conceptual thinking, insight-led decision-making and diplomatic, forward-thinking approach
• Ability to build relationships and influence across cultures
