Senior Group Internal Auditor

About the role

As a Senior Group Internal Auditor you will lead audit missions across BESIX’s international entities, construction projects and key business processes. You will work closely with senior management, gaining exposure to diverse markets and operational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead internal audit missions covering entities, projects, financial matters and core processes.
• Review internal controls, financial information and operational procedures.
• Conduct interviews, analyse documents and data to identify risks and control weaknesses.
• Discuss findings with operational and senior management and propose pragmatic recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Follow‑up on the implementation of agreed action plans.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in external audit, internal audit, consulting or a comparable control function.
• Experience in an industrial, construction or project‑based environment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, accounting and internal controls.
