Senior French Web Copywriter – Digital Communication (Hybrid, Brussels)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced French‑native Senior Web Copywriter to join our established digital communication team in Brussels. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while collaborating with webmasters, digital experts, and business stakeholders to produce clear, engaging, and accessible online content.

Key responsibilities

• Write and update website pages, landing pages, news articles, FAQs, alerts and other digital communications.
• Create user manuals, online help documentation, and editorial guidelines.
• Adapt tone of voice and style to different target audiences.
• Translate legal or technical information into plain language for the general public.
• Optimize content for SEO and AI‑powered search experiences (GEO).
• Structure content for discoverability, including question‑based formats.
• Publish and maintain content within CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and digital teams throughout the content lifecycle.

Required profile

• Native French speaker with several years of experience as a web copywriter, digital content writer or content specialist.
• Strong understanding of digital communication and experience creating content for websites and digital platforms.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading abilities, with a talent for simplifying complex information.
• Comfortable interacting directly with business stakeholders and working within structured editorial processes.

Required skills

• Experience with CMS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including Track Changes.
• Solid knowledge of SEO principles.
• Interest and experience in AI‑assisted content creation and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
