Senior Cybersecurity Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Coordinator works within the IT Security department, reporting to the Information Security Manager. This role drives the coordination of cybersecurity programmes, ensuring they align with strategy, regulatory requirements and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the cybersecurity programme across departments.
• Manage the project portfolio, including NIS2 compliance initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration between business, IT and security teams.
• Translate security policies into practical guidelines and directives.
• Support implementation of security improvement plans and track risk mitigation actions.
• Produce dashboards, reports and clear communication for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management or cybersecurity coordination.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ISO 27001 / ISO 27K standards.
• Experience with NIS2 compliance initiatives.
• Familiarity with the CyFun (CyberFundamentals) framework.
