Senior Business & Commercial Law Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior legal professional to lead our Business & Commercial Law team. You will work at the heart of Belgium’s tech ecosystem, providing strategic counsel to start‑ups, scale‑ups and established companies in Antwerp and Limburg.

Key responsibilities

• Advise tech innovators on complex legal matters, including IP, data protection and AI regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate partnership agreements, licensing contracts, terms of use, SLAs and trademark registrations.
• Collaborate with clients to implement policies, resolve disputes and negotiate agreements with suppliers and partners.
• Mentor and develop a team of 10+ lawyers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Leverage your network with founders and investors to create business opportunities.
• Drive business development through workshops, thought‑leadership articles and market trend analysis.

Required profile

• Belgian master’s degree in law (advanced master’s a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a lawyer, in‑house counsel or legal consultant.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Active involvement in business development and knowledge‑sharing activities.
