Senior Business Analyst – Cards & Payment Products

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the strategy, performance monitoring and transformation of card products for a leading banking client in Brussels. The role sits at the intersection of business and IT, driving improvements and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market trends, competition and customer needs for card products.
• Track product performance metrics such as revenue, market share and NPS.
• Identify issues and propose product and service enhancements.
• Evaluate, challenge and prioritize change requests.
• Collaborate with agile squads to define and assess solutions.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the primary interface between business and IT stakeholders.
• Define business scope, target operating model and interfaces.
• Support implementation and lead Business Acceptance Testing (BAT).

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the banking sector.
• Strong expertise in card products, processes and services.
• Solid understanding of the Belgian payments ecosystem.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into IT requirements.
• Hands‑on, analytical and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
