Senior Actuarial Expert - Belgian Market

About the role

Alan is building a new standard in prevention insurance and seeks a Senior Actuarial Expert to shape its Belgian market offering. You will combine deep actuarial expertise with a passion for health insurance to design, price, and monitor innovative products for large corporate and public‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and price health, death & disability insurance offers for large companies and public institutions.
• Monitor business performance and risk indicators, ensuring the portfolio remains financially sound.
• Collaborate with data scientists, designers, engineers and product managers to develop differentiated insurance products.
• Lead pricing strategy initiatives to unlock new customer segments and drive growth.
• Strengthen relationships with Belgian insurance regulators and ensure compliance.
• Work with engineering teams to build tools that enable scalable, tailored insurance offers.

Required profile

• Several years of senior actuarial experience, preferably in health or disability insurance.
• Proven track record of pricing and risk management for large corporate or public‑sector accounts.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex insurance concepts for cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional French or Dutch is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence stakeholders across multiple countries.
