Senior Accountant – Year-End & Tax Advisory

About the role

As a Senior Accountant you will lead the year‑end closing process, ensure compliance with complex tax regulations and act as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base. You will mentor a junior accountant while continuously developing your own expertise in both operational and strategic accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full financial year‑end closing cycle, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide tax and accounting advice that helps clients resolve challenges efficiently.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of tax obligations.
• Transition from hands‑on processing to strategic advisory as you grow in the role.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax accountancy.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Self‑motivated, ambitious and committed to excellence.
• Independent yet collaborative, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable using modern software tools.
