Sales Director

About the role

As Sales Director you will define and execute the international sales strategy, leading a global team to achieve ambitious growth targets across multiple markets. You will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on commercial drive to deliver sustainable revenue expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global sales strategy to meet revenue targets and grow the international customer base.
• Analyse market trends, identify new opportunities, and adapt plans for existing and emerging markets.
• Collaborate with the executive team to set short‑ and long‑term objectives and translate them into actionable plans.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the sales team, focusing on performance and development.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, customer service, logistics, and finance to ensure effective go‑to‑market execution.
• Monitor sales KPIs, manage budget, forecasting and reporting to senior management.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Represent the company at international trade shows and industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (MBA a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of senior sales leadership experience in an international or multinational environment.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and French; Spanish and/or German a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
