Remote PHP Developer (Laravel) Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our customer’s AI agent project on a remote, contract basis. You will apply your expertise in PHP and Laravel to build and maintain back‑end systems that support AI model training and data workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP applications using the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with AI model trainers to structure data and workflows for AI training processes.
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, high‑performance back‑end systems.
• Translate requirements into efficient, reliable code solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex back‑end issues during AI model training cycles.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously while contributing to team objectives.
• Experience with data‑driven or AI‑related projects is a plus.
