Remote Linux/Ubuntu AI Trainer (Contract)

About the role

This is a fully remote, hourly‑paid contract position supporting AI data‑training projects. You will work on structured, detail‑oriented tasks such as installing applications, recording your actions, and ensuring high‑quality training data for large AI models. The role is ideal for students, junior candidates, or anyone comfortable with Ubuntu/Linux environments and looking for flexible, part‑time work.

Key responsibilities

• Follow detailed written guidelines and apply them accurately.
• Install and configure required applications on an Ubuntu/Linux computer.
• Check completed work for errors before submission.
• Identify inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues and report them.
• Maintain focus during repetitive, detail‑heavy tasks.
• Complete assigned work within the agreed weekly availability (approximately 15 hours).
• Communicate clearly with the project team when support is needed.
• Contribute to improving the quality of AI model training data.

Required profile

• Access to a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux.
• Comfortable installing required apps, tools, and project software independently.
• Tech‑savvy, reliable, and able to meet task deadlines.
• Patient, concentrated, and detail‑oriented.
• Available for roughly 15 hours per week.
• Student or junior candidate welcome.
