Regional HR Director – UK, Nordics & Benelux

About the role

We are seeking a Regional HR Director to lead the people agenda for a global manufacturing and logistics business across the UK, Nordics and Benelux. Reporting centrally while partnering daily with local leaders, you will drive HR strategy and delivery during a period of significant organisational change.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted, commercially‑minded HR Business Partner to regional and local leadership teams.
• Own all HR topics across the UK, Sweden and Belgium, ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery.
• Translate global HR policies into locally compliant implementation.
• Lead, coach and develop a regional HR team of three professionals.
• Resolve performance and leadership challenges, particularly in the Belgium operation.
• Manage employee relations and works council/union engagement in Belgium and Sweden; oversee HR matters in the non‑unionised UK environment.
• Build a robust succession and talent pipeline to support growth ambitions.
• Partner on organisational design and workforce planning aligned with market expansion.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a senior HR Business Partner or HR Director in a multi‑site, matrixed manufacturing, industrial or logistics environment.
• Proven experience managing unionised employee relations in European markets (Belgium and/or Nordics preferred).
• Demonstrated success operating within a matrix organisation and leading HR teams.
• Experience supporting organisations through cultural and leadership change.
• Fluent English required; French and/or Dutch also needed.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work flexibly across the region.
