About the role
Unilever Food Solutions is looking for a Regional Account Manager – Trade to lead the development of its foodservice distributor network across West‑Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia. Based in Brussels, you will combine a strategic sales mindset with a passion for food to drive growth and digital transformation for our trade partners.
Key responsibilities
- Develop long‑term strategic collaborations with regional distributors and create joint customer plans that outpace market growth.
- Design and implement new routes to market, including CRM, e‑commerce and other digital solutions.
- Execute customer business plans in partnership with Channel Marketing Trade to achieve turnover targets.
- Negotiate and close deals while managing trade discounts and budgets efficiently.
- Analyse sales performance, digital metrics and category results to inform strategy.
- Secure full‑range listings, promotional placements and price adjustments for new product introductions.
- Maintain strong relationships at all levels of trade customers and drive the Free Trade strategy.
- Motivate, train and incentivise distributor sales teams, focusing on the top 10 accounts.
- Collaborate with Operator Sales teams and other internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the foodservice or HoReCa sector.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop digital sales solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Passion for food and a results‑driven mindset.
