Quality, Safety & Environmental Manager

About the role

Join Manufacture Belge de Chocolats (MBC) in Brussels as a Quality, Safety & Environmental Manager. You will be responsible for safeguarding product integrity, protecting people and assets, and minimizing environmental impact while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality control activities, manage non‑conformities, conduct root‑cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Lead food safety and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP and FSSC 22000 certification schemes.
• Coordinate supplier qualification and raw‑material approval processes.
• Promote a proactive health and safety culture, identify workplace risks, lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, monitor performance and support initiatives to reduce the site’s environmental footprint.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality, safety and environmental management within a food‑production environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for food safety and environmental protection.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, drive continuous improvement and communicate effectively.
