Quality Control Inspector – Incoming Industrial QC

About the role

The Incoming Industrial Quality Control Inspector ensures that all products and batches received from suppliers or subcontractors meet contractual and technical specifications. The role involves on‑site inspections, documentation management, and driving corrective actions to maintain high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify incoming items against reference documentation, drawings, and standards.
• Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, multimeters, CMMs, 3D scanners, and optical equipment.
• Prepare inspection, test, and non‑conformance reports.
• Determine acceptability of inspected items and identify non‑conformities.
• Implement corrective actions with suppliers and monitor their effectiveness.
• Maintain traceability between delivery documents and quality records.
• Participate in the review and drafting of inspection procedures for new and existing products.
• Monitor performance indicators and propose product or process improvements.

Required profile

• Technical qualification (A2) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial quality control.
• Strong written communication skills in French and English.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy, and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mechanical measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, multimeters.
• Experience using advanced equipment: coordinate measuring machines (CMM), 3D scanners, optical measurement tools.
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and data processing.
• Knowledge of EN9100 and ISO 9001 quality management standards.
• Familiarity with problem‑solving methods (Ishikawa, 8D) and Process FMEA.
