QA Systems Officer - Facilities

About the role

UCB is seeking a detail‑oriented QA Systems Officer (Facilities) to ensure that all technical operations related to pharmaceutical production and analysis remain compliant with regulations and internal quality systems. Based at the UCB campus in Braine‑l’Alleud, you will co‑develop and implement robust quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and support audit and inspection readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and related processes.
• Organise and coordinate GMP‑compliant pest control across the manufacturing site.
• Support facilities teams with access management, change control, and deviation handling acting as QA.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and improve quality KPIs.
• Promote quality culture, compliance awareness, and accountability across UCB teams.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure inspection readiness.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Mandatory experience in Quality within a regulated pharmaceutical or life‑science environment.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
