Purchasing Manager – XC Business Unit

About the role

Lifelive Motorsport is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement for its Cross Car (XC) Business Unit. Based on-site in St-Vith, you will ensure the timely, cost‑effective acquisition of parts and components that keep our high‑performance rally and race cars on the track.

Key responsibilities

• Anticipate and place orders based on minimum/maximum stock thresholds defined in the Odoo ERP system.
• Negotiate prices, lead times and payment terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor deliveries, follow up on delays, and manage alternative sourcing to mitigate supply‑chain disruptions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in Odoo and physical stock.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, workshop and race‑team teams to align procurement with project requirements.
• Prepare weekly reports and communicate updates during team meetings.
• Oversee the daily activities of the XC Shop Manager to ensure priorities, order processing and shipment preparation are executed correctly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within automotive or motorsport environments.
• Strong negotiation and supplier‑relationship management skills.
• Ability to anticipate supply issues and implement effective contingency plans.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent English communication; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
