Program Manager – Lead Large-Scale IT Initiatives

About the role

The Program Manager will lead company‑wide, large‑scale programs to ensure timely delivery of major business initiatives while respecting approved scope and budget. This role requires coordinating multiple departments, managing cross‑functional teams, and maintaining alignment with the organization’s strategic roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the program and its underlying projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Coordinate change across involved departments and escalate issues according to governance rules.
• Set up program and project teams covering all impacted business and technical areas.
• Define a realistic program plan based on the internal customer roadmap.
• Identify deliverables, resources, and timing for all delivery teams.
• Prepare and monitor the program budget, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Organise regular follow‑up meetings to monitor progress and proactively detect issues.
• Maintain continuous liaison with department management to ensure clear awareness of deliverables.
• Report on program progress, issues, and risks to senior leadership.
• Provide day‑to‑day management, coaching, and alignment of methodologies across the program team.

Required profile

• Many years of experience in program and project management within complex environments.
• Proven experience in the IT domain.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and coaching abilities.
• Business acumen with the capacity to work autonomously and influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• Project methodology knowledge (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint.
