Product Manager – Proton Therapy Academy

About the role
The Proton Therapy Academy (PTA) is IBA’s global training initiative that supports proton therapy centres worldwide. As the Product Manager you will own the Academy as a customer‑facing product, guiding its strategy, content, and platform evolution to deliver high‑impact learning experiences for clinicians, physicists, researchers and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Define and drive the Academy’s overall strategy and long‑term vision.
- Own and continuously evolve the product roadmap, aligning educational priorities with market evolution and IBA’s objectives.
- Identify content gaps, innovation opportunities and new educational formats to keep the Academy scientifically relevant and differentiated.
- Lead content strategy across multiple learner personas, overseeing online modules, advanced clinical courses, blended programmes and product‑related training.
- Ensure scientific rigor, pedagogical consistency, editorial coherence and practical applicability of all Academy material.
- Collaborate with internal experts, key opinion leaders and external partners to create engaging, actionable learning experiences.
- Apply adult‑learning principles to develop e‑learning modules, blended learning journeys, assessments and certification approaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with proton therapy centres, professional organisations and internal stakeholders, acting as the main interface between clinical, business and marketing teams.
- Coordinate projects, manage content production, reviews and validation, and facilitate feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience in product management, preferably within medical education, healthcare or related technology.
- Strong understanding of proton therapy, radiation oncology or related clinical domains.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with clinical experts, marketing, sales and external partners.
- Experience managing complex content portfolios and educational programmes for diverse professional audiences.
- Willingness to travel regularly to Belgium while working remotely for most of the time.
