Product Manager

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Product Manager to define, deploy, and drive product strategy and roadmap for its railway solutions. You will own the full product lifecycle, from introduction through end‑of‑life, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy and maintain a detailed roadmap.
• Manage product lifecycle phases, including phase‑in, phase‑out, and obsolescence risk.
• Control total product cost, implement competitiveness actions and improve lead times.
• Support project and tender teams with product expertise and participate in customer demonstrations.
• Coordinate with solution directors, supply chain, and technical teams for forecasting and governance.
• Ensure technical communication through bulletins, alerts, and technical notes.
• Act as Program Development Manager when required, leading multidisciplinary teams to meet QCD objectives.

Required profile

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering (mandatory).
• Additional business education is a plus.
• Significant railway industry experience with a strong operational background.
• 4‑5+ years in system/product engineering or product management within digital, railway or automotive sectors.
