PLM Functional Consultant - Mid-Level

About the role

Accenture Belgium and Luxembourg is looking for a mid-level PLM Functional Consultant within its Supply Chain & Engineering practice, based in Brussels. You will support and lead PLM deployment and transformation projects for Belgian and international clients across Consumer Goods, Retail, Industrial Equipment and Pharma & Life Sciences, working on process design, platform deployment and change management.

Key responsibilities

• Support end-to-end PLM deployment, from requirements gathering and process design through configuration, testing and go-live
• Help clients define BOM processes, engineering change workflows and product data governance
• Conduct PLM maturity assessments and define improvement roadmaps
• Analyse current product development and engineering change processes and design improved future-state workflows
• Develop training content and support end-user adoption of new PLM processes and tools
• Support requirements workshops, functional solution design, configuration and testing, and data migration (mapping, cleansing, validation)
• Communicate PLM concepts to technical and business audiences, contribute to proposals and share knowledge internally
• Work in international project teams with the global Engineering and PLM network

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in PLM, product data management or engineering consulting
• Experience or strong interest in Consumer Goods or Retail is a plus
• Fluent English, spoken and written; fluent French and/or Dutch is a plus
• Ability to travel to client sites; a valid driving licence is strongly recommended

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with at least one PLM platform (Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, SAP PLM, PTC Windchill or a consumer goods-focused PLM platform)
• Solid understanding of BOM management, engineering change, data governance and lifecycle workflows
• Ability to map business processes and translate them into system requirements
• Exposure to ERP systems, master data management or data migration tools is a plus
