Manufacturing & Operations Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager – Delivery Lead leads and delivers large-scale engineering and digital transformation programs for Accenture's clients. It sits at the intersection of engineering, technology and business transformation, with accountability for delivery excellence, client outcomes and team leadership. The role is based in Brussels and sits within the Supply Chain & Engineering practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver engineering transformation programs, including engineering modernization, digital engineering enablement and digitization of the engineering function (Digital Thread / Twin, RPA, machine learning, AI)
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex consulting programs, covering scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk, and act as the primary client delivery lead
• Oversee implementation of engineering systems and platforms such as PLM, engineering data, digital thread and analytics
• Guide teams in designing future-state engineering operating models, processes and organizational structures
• Manage teams of 5-15 people, coaching and mentoring juniors, and take ownership of workstream planning, task allocation and quality assurance
• Manage engagement financials, including forecasting, margin awareness and invoicing, and support change control and commercial governance
• Support sales origination, proposal development and account growth, and contribute to delivery standards and methodologies

Required profile

• University degree with a strong affinity for technology; MBA is a plus
• 5-10 years of relevant industry experience and digital transformations
• Fluent English, spoken and written; fluent Dutch or French is required
• Willingness to travel to international client sites and a valid driving licence strongly recommended

Required skills

• Experience with PLM concepts, BOM management, Digital Twin and Thread, and Master Data Management
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and excellent verbal and written communication
