Physics Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote, hourly contract position focuses on leading quality assurance for physics AI training projects. You will ensure that all physics content generated for AI models meets rigorous scientific and instructional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across physics AI training projects.
• Review AI‑generated physics content and trainer/QA work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback and ensure contributors follow quality standards.
• Identify recurring quality issues, communicate updates to trainers and QAs, and support onboarding of new contributors.
• Maintain documentation, track performance metrics, and reactivate inconsistent contributors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Astrophysics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Strong command of English for guideline interpretation and feedback.
• 3+ years of experience in physics research, teaching, tutoring, laboratory work, science writing, academic review, or related scientific workflows.
• Deep knowledge of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, relativity, units and dimensional analysis.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of educators, reviewers, annotators or QAs is strongly preferred.
