PDI Service Engineer

About the role

MSX International supports leading automotive brands worldwide, improving repair performance, customer satisfaction and aftersales operations across more than 80 countries. It is looking for a PDI Service Engineer to support an ongoing automotive project in Zeebrugge, Belgium. You will carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on vehicles so they meet the highest quality standards before delivery to customers. The job can be full-time or part-time.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
• Carry out technical, mechanical and electronic vehicle checks.
• Identify and resolve defects or quality issues before vehicle delivery.
• Carry out software updates, configuration tasks and minor repairs when required.
• Document completed work and inspection results accurately.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with manufacturer and quality standards.
• Collaborate with local teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Support additional technical projects and assignments as needed.
• Take part in technical training programmes to expand expertise across multiple automotive brands.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or similar role.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Willingness to work on-site in Zeebrugge.
• High level of English.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and modern automotive systems.
• Nice to have: experience performing PDIs, experience with electric or hybrid vehicles, previous Field Service Engineer experience, and additional languages.
