Paralegal – In‑House Legal Support (EMEA/Benelux)

About the role

Solvay is seeking an experienced in‑house Paralegal to join its Legal Counsel & Business Partnering team. The role supports legal operations across the EMEA region, with a focus on the Benelux subsidiaries, and works closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal and administrative support, including drafting standard contracts, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as UBO and KYC.
• Conduct legal research and monitor legislative developments relevant to the Group.
• Maintain corporate records for international entities and coordinate filings with local registries.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing NDAs, service agreements, and other standard contracts under supervision.
• Manage relationships with external notaries, law firms, and service providers, including RfQs and engagement letters.
• Process legal invoices, track budgets, and handle expense reports.
• Organise legal team meetings, logistics and follow‑up activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a recognized Paralegal/Legal Assistant certificate.
• Relevant experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support function.
• Strong understanding of Belgian legal principles and the judicial/administrative system.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with legal technologies and case‑management systems.
