Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Operations Manager for our production site in Genk, Belgium. You will lead daily production and warehouse activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and high delivery reliability while fostering a collaborative "One Factory" culture.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe, stable, and on‑schedule production operations.
• Monitor production plans, output, downtime, waste and operational KPIs.
• Conduct daily operational meetings and coordinate shift activities.
• Facilitate efficient collaboration between production, warehouse, maintenance, tooling and supply chain.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Act as a visible, approachable leader to motivate and engage employees.
• Drive employee development, dialogues and ownership of improvements.
• Collaborate with employee representatives according to Belgian labour practices.

Required profile

• Visible leader who spends time on the shop floor and works closely with foremen, packers and maintenance teams.
• Strong communication skills, able to create structure, accountability and teamwork across shifts.
• Commitment to employee well‑being, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Ability to balance day‑to‑day operational issues with longer‑term improvement projects.
