Operations Engineer

About the role

As an Operations Engineer you will ensure the reliability, security and continuous improvement of our on‑prem production platform. Working closely with Cloud, DevOps and Security teams as well as a managed hosting provider, you will gain hands‑on experience in day‑to‑day operations and grow into an autonomous technical partner.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production health, investigate alerts and resolve incidents.
• Coordinate with the hosting provider for incidents, maintenance windows and infrastructure changes.
• Participate in RCA, implement corrective actions and propose reliability improvements.
• Support OS upgrades, infrastructure hardening and SQL Server operations.
• Develop PowerShell automation to eliminate repetitive tasks.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of systems administration or infrastructure operations experience.
• Curious, analytical and organized mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration
• IIS and Microsoft server technologies
• Microsoft SQL Server basics and PowerShell scripting
• SQL query writing and log analysis
• Understanding of ITIL incident/problem/change management
• Familiarity with PCI DSS or similar compliance frameworks
