Oncology Pipeline Medical Science Liaison

About the role

The Oncology Pipeline Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field‑based, non‑promotional position that connects GSK with the healthcare community in Belgium. The role focuses on advancing clinical practice, sharing scientific insights, and supporting the safe and appropriate use of GSK oncology medicines to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) across academic, community, pharmacy, and nursing settings to discuss emerging data, clinical trials, and unmet medical needs.
• Collect and communicate medical insights that inform GSK’s medical strategy and product lifecycle.
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans, mapping scientific engagements with key accounts.
• Support clinical trial activities by facilitating relevant medical interactions and collaborating with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Medical Affairs, marketing, commercial, sales) to ensure a customer‑centric approach aligned with GSK SOPs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of oncology therapeutic areas, GSK medicines, and the evolving treatment landscape.

Required profile

• Deep clinical and oncology therapeutic expertise.
• Strong understanding of the oncology market and scientific landscape.
• Experience engaging with a broad range of HCPs and gathering medical insights.
• Ability to work independently in a national territory covering Belgium.
