Offshore Construction Manager

About the role

The Offshore Construction Manager will lead on‑site civil and marine works for an artificial island project in the North Sea, supporting Europe’s energy ambitions. You will act as the primary point of contact for contractors and coordinate all construction activities on a fast‑paced offshore environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day coordination of client representatives and project engineers for rebar, formwork, concreting, revetment rock works and harbour outfitting.
• Oversee health, safety and environmental aspects of contractor operations with support from HSE and onshore teams.
• Control quality, monitor progress and report against agreed methods, risk assessments and procedures.
• Develop staffing plans, recruit and integrate client representatives alongside works and project management teams.
• Serve as the single point of contact on‑site for all contractor engagement.
• Identify risks and opportunities and proactively develop mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction, preferably with offshore exposure.
• Engineering degree, ideally civil engineering.
• Knowledge of structural and corrosion protection; familiarity with electrical, instrumentation, telecom or mechanical disciplines is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a structured, fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant medical certification (e.g., NOGEPA), BOSIET or equivalent and boat‑landing training.
• Fluency in English; Dutch or French a plus.
