OCB Programme Association Lead

About the role

The OCB Programme Association Lead strengthens the associative life of MSF Belgium/Operational Centre Brussels (OCB) by connecting association members—especially mobile and country‑based staff—with the realities of field operations. The role fosters participation, ownership and accountability across programmes, ensuring MSF’s core principles are actively lived in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the OCB associative strategy together with the OCB Board and group association teams.
• Translate governance priorities into concrete associative projects linked to operational realities.
• Facilitate two‑way communication between the Board, management, operations and association members.
• Support and monitor associative projects across programmes, ensuring continuity and impact.
• Coach and support focal points and networks in countries of operation, maintaining an up‑to‑date stakeholder map.
• Guide the design of project documentation, objectives, action plans and budgets for associative initiatives.
• Coordinate field associative debates, motions cycles and cross‑learning platforms such as the SoukPlan.
• Lead the preparation of key annual events, including the OCB Gathering and the MSF Belgium General Assembly.
• Manage suppliers, budgets, interns, volunteers and external providers linked to associative activities.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of MSF international coordination experience, including monitoring and analysis of project outcomes.
