Medior Data Analyst – Energy Sector

About the role

We are seeking a Medior Data Analyst to join a multidisciplinary team working on a long‑term initiative in the energy sector. You will transform complex simulation and operational data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision‑making through modern analytics and visualization tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve data management processes, including data warehouses and pipelines.
• Collect, process, and analyse large datasets using Python.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Create clear visualisations from simulation and historical data.
• Maintain Python scripts for data processing, validation, and automation.
• Identify data inconsistencies and enhance data quality.
• Compare simulation results with historical data and industry benchmarks.
• Present analytical findings and visualisations to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to continuously improve reporting and data accessibility.
• Support the development of user‑friendly interfaces for exploring analytical data.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Good knowledge of English; good command of Dutch and/or French.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality.
• Passion for data, visualisation, and continuous improvement.
