Experienced Frontend Developer (TypeScript/JavaScript)

About the role

Join the Tracking Team to build a modern, unified Tracking Platform from the ground up. You will help create core SDKs for Android, iOS and Web, enabling reliable tracking data across all DPG Media brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance web SDKs and demo tooling.
• Define and refine solutions together with product and tech stakeholders.
• Maintain the technical foundation through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers across DPG Media, sharing insights in Guilds and Communities of Practice.
• Build tools and documentation that make integration seamless for other engineers.

Required profile

• Based in Antwerp, willing to travel occasionally to Rotterdam or Amsterdam.
• Comfortable interacting with developers, product owners, analytics engineers and marketers.
• Strong belief in Agile principles and good communication skills.
• Passionate about clean, efficient libraries and developer experience.

Required skills

• Modern TypeScript and JavaScript (ESNext).
• Deep knowledge of browser contexts, HTTP, web storage and performance optimisation.
• Automated testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest or Playwright.
• CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Experience with event‑tracking platforms (e.g., Snowplow) and streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink).
• Familiarity with React or vanilla JS/HTML for internal tooling.
• Creating type‑safe APIs, clear documentation and demo applications.
