Medical Science Liaison – Vaccination Strategies (North)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will act as the scientific bridge between GSK Medical Affairs and the external healthcare community in Belgium, focusing on adult immunisation and vaccination strategies. The role involves building advocacy for GSK vaccines through scientific partnerships with key external experts and scientific associations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in one‑to‑one scientific dialogue with external experts and healthcare providers on GSK vaccine data and vaccination guidelines.
• Serve as an expert speaker at scientific events, presenting data and stimulating clinical discussion.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals in a factual, balanced, and scientifically rigorous manner.
• Gather and relay scientific and clinical insights, unmet medical needs, and patient feedback to inform GSK’s medical, commercial, and R&D strategies.
• Execute the field engagement plan, identify relevant external experts, and collaborate with internal medical affairs managers to optimise planning.
• Partner with commercial and matrix colleagues (sales, marketing, market access) to align strategies and business plans.

Required profile

• Strong interest in vaccination strategies and adult immunisation.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific data to healthcare professionals and external experts.
• Experience in building scientific partnerships and gathering field insights.
• Comfortable delivering peer‑to‑peer discussions and presenting at scientific meetings.
