Medical Science Liaison – South (Belgium & Luxembourg)

About the role

Join Novo Nordisk as a Medical Science Liaison for the South region, covering the east part of Wallonia in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will act as the scientific bridge between our cardiometabolic portfolio and healthcare professionals, translating complex clinical evidence into clear, actionable messages that improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust network of HCPs and KOLs across endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology and hepatology/gastro‑enterology.
• Lead scientific dialogues at regional and local round‑tables, presenting clinical data and facilitating multidisciplinary discussions.
• Co‑develop and deliver educational projects, including speaker development, scientific presentations and collaborative hospital meetings.
• Collect actionable medical insights on physician needs, patient pathways and data interpretation to inform strategic decisions.
• Help define the local medical affairs strategy for cardiometabolic diseases, aligning clinical excellence with business objectives.
• Provide tailored medical responses to unsolicited information requests from HCPs.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Market Access and Clinical Operations to execute integrated business strategies.

Required profile

• University degree in Science, Pharmacy, Medicine or a related field.
• Scientifically rigorous professional with a strong understanding of diabetes, obesity and related comorbidities (CVD, CKD, MASH).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear messages.
• Experience working in a dynamic healthcare environment and building relationships with KOLs.
