Mechanical Piping Supervisor

About the role

The Mechanical Piping Supervisor will lead piping installation activities on site, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and high‑quality delivery. You will coordinate with multiple trades, manage subcontractors, and uphold strict HSE and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all on‑site piping works alongside other trades.
• Lead daily whiteboard meetings and conduct weekly toolbox talks.
• Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to the line manager.
• Plan labour resources to align with project schedules.
• Maintain workmanship quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and report variations, delays, and risks to the Construction and Project Managers.
• Verify that materials and plant meet project specifications and are safely handled.
• Confirm subcontractor equipment is certified and fit for use.
• Enforce Health & Safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Piping Supervisor.
• Pharma project experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings.
• Good knowledge of piping installation, testing, and QA/QC requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using Navisworks 3D models.
• Strong leadership, safety‑conscious mindset, and detail‑orientation.
