Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level (M/F/X)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our high‑tech team in Liège Science Park. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on ultra‑precision projects for sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and augmented/virtual reality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and refining mechanical designs using CAD/CAM software.
• Support precision machining and replication processes during manufacturing.
• Participate in advanced metrology activities, including confocal microscopy, Fizeau interferometry, and tactile profilometry.
• Help monitor and optimise production workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and quality records in line with industry standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in ultra‑precision manufacturing, micro‑mechanics, or materials science.
• Ability to quickly assimilate complex technical information and apply it to practical challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a small specialised group.
• High attention to detail and disciplined approach to precision‑critical tasks.
