Design Engineer

About the role

John Cockerill Energy is looking for a Design Engineer to join its proposal team in Belgium. You will work on the thermal and mechanical dimensioning of heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) from the early proposal stage through to the definition of technical hypotheses for later design phases.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thermal and mechanical dimensioning of HRSGs during the proposal phase.
• Develop and validate technical hypotheses that will guide detailed project design.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for internal proposal engineers and, when required, for external clients.
• Support the creation of technically sound proposals for worldwide energy projects.

Required profile

• Experience in thermal and mechanical engineering related to power generation equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
