Marketing Director – High‑Tech Europe

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Director to lead the Europe High‑Tech business for Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company. The role focuses on the data‑center and microelectronics segments, shaping strategy, driving growth and ensuring the commercial success of innovative chemical, equipment and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Europe growth strategy and marketing plans for the High‑Tech portfolio.
• Build and lead a high‑performing, inclusive marketing team.
• Drive portfolio strategy, including positioning, lifecycle management and pricing support.
• Partner with sales, R&D, supply chain and digital teams to commercialise new products and services.
• Develop value propositions, messaging, sales tools and customer‑facing content.
• Translate market insights and competitive intelligence into actionable plans.
• Lead market segmentation, customer prioritisation and opportunity assessment.
• Provide training, campaign activation and commercial enablement for the sales force.

Required profile

• Proven senior marketing leadership experience, preferably in high‑tech, data‑center or microelectronics markets.
• Strong track record of driving profitable growth and commercialising complex solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams (sales, R&D, finance, operations).
• Ability to influence senior leadership and present strategic recommendations.
