Manufacturing & Operations Engineering Consultant

About the role

Accenture Belgium and Luxembourg is hiring a Manufacturing & Operations Engineering Consultant (Team Lead/Consultant, mid-level, full time) in Brussels. The role supports and delivers large-scale engineering and digital transformation programs for clients, combining engineering, technology and business transformation. It sits in the Supply Chain & Engineering practice, which covers topics such as strategic assessments, value stream mapping, requirement analysis and MES implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engineering transformation programs, including engineering modernization and digital engineering enablement
• Use advanced analytics (return on engineering investment, business case models) and operating model architecture (people, process, technology)
• Support implementation of engineering systems and platforms such as PLM, engineering data, digital thread, analytics and cloud-enabled engineering
• Help design future-state engineering operating models, processes and organizational structures, and align strategy, technology architecture and execution
• Contribute to delivery outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk, and build trusted relationships with client stakeholders
• Translate client objectives into executable delivery plans and resolve delivery risks in multi-vendor environments
• Work in teams of 2-5 to 20-40 people, support client sales origination, proposal development and estimates, and contribute to delivery standards and methodologies

Required profile

• University degree with a strong affinity for technology
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience and digital transformation experience
• Fluent English, spoken and written; fluent Dutch or French, spoken and written
• Willingness to travel to international client sites and a valid driving licence strongly recommended

Required skills

• Experience with PLM concepts, BOM management, Digital Twin and Thread, and Master Data Management
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills
