Manager, Deal Management

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Deal Management to lead the creation and execution of strategic customer agreements across assigned European countries. Reporting to the Director of Business Development Finance Europe, you will work closely with sales, legal, finance and other functions to build profitable, compliant deals that support Mastercard’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage complex customer business agreements, ensuring consistent execution across stakeholders.
• Define quantifiable goals that drive profitability for both Mastercard and its customers.
• Lead the deal development process, including business case modeling for high‑priority and non‑traditional customers.
• Prioritize opportunities independently and maintain compliance and tracking of financial models.
• Collaborate with legal to embed performance commitments in contracts and with finance, tax and accounting to optimise deal structures.
• Provide regular analysis and executive summaries for senior management review and approval.
• Deliver training and guidance to account teams on business case processes and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong strategic thinking and thought leadership in complex deal environments.
• Collaborative style with the ability to work across multiple departments and seniority levels.
• Experience in financial analysis, business case development and contract negotiation.
• Understanding of pricing, regulatory and business environments within the payments industry.
