Maintenance Technician

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician at Newell Brands, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment and site utilities. You will work on a variety of tasks that keep machinery running smoothly, support safe operations, and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns.
• Diagnose and execute corrective repairs using schematics and technical manuals.
• Set up machines, change tools, adjust settings, and run test cycles to meet quality standards.
• Maintain site utilities such as compressed air, HVAC, lighting, and safety systems.
• Document all maintenance activities and update technical records.
• Assist external technicians during installations or major repairs and keep the workspace organized.

Required profile

• Mechanical, electro‑mechanical or automation degree (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven hands‑on experience in a maintenance or technical role.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• PLC programming knowledge (Omron, Siemens, Beckhoff).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
