Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Join SABCA’s maintenance team in Brussels and ensure the reliability and optimisation of the machine fleet and production equipment used for aircraft and space launcher programmes. You will develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans, support preventive and predictive activities, and contribute to continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain maintenance plans, including task series, spare‑parts lists and external support strategies.
• Provide technical and methodological support for preventive and predictive maintenance interventions.
• Manage the SAP PM system: enter machines, sub‑machines, and verify work order reports.
• Develop and improve maintenance methods and standards, and lead complex issue resolution.
• Analyse failures, propose corrective actions and drive retrofit projects for industrial equipment.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and manufacturers, and share best practices across SABCA sites.
• Ensure compliance with EN9100 quality and ISO 14001 environmental standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent with an industrial background.
• Proven experience in reliability of industrial equipment or maintenance optimisation.
• Ability to conduct rigorous self‑checks and ensure product quality throughout production.
• Experience transferring knowledge to team members and fostering continuous learning.
