Logistics Team Leader

About the role

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is seeking a Logistics Team Leader to join its Supply Chain Department. Based at Brussels Airport, you will act as the main point of contact for transport partners and guide a team of ten logistics professionals in a high‑tech MRO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison with transport partners, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound flows.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 10 logistics colleagues, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Define relevant KPIs, generate activity reports and present findings in daily meetings with management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and administrative procedures specific to the workstation and company.
• Promote teamwork, inspire staff and propose process enhancements, including the adoption of new technologies.
• Maintain effective internal and external relationships to support operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing logistics teams.
• Strong communication, initiative and a proactive improvement mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Legal authorization to work in Belgium (EU passport or valid work/residence permit).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Knowledge of SAP (considered a plus).
