Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of inbound goods, coordinating transportation, and supporting outbound operations. You will act as the main point of contact for carriers and drivers, ensuring smooth planning, accurate documentation, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming shipment information, schedule truck deliveries, and maintain planning files in Excel.
• Prepare mid‑ to long‑term forecasts, monitor delivery schedules, slot bookings and warehouse capacity.
• Create Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs), inbound deliveries, and enter purchase orders in SAP.
• Verify shipment labels, manage master data, and liaise with customs brokers.
• Identify and implement process improvements for inbound flows, transportation, and packaging.
• Serve as the primary contact for truck drivers, manage gate assignments and documentation (CMRs, packing lists, invoices).
• Support outbound deliveries, prioritize picking, coordinate transportation across European markets, and handle claims.

Required profile

• Knowledge of warehouse processes, inbound operations and picking techniques.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to work independently under pressure.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with a focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
