Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead the construction site logistics for Mercury’s projects in Mons, Belgium. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end supply chain, material receiving, store management and the optimisation of site logistics solutions to support fast‑track construction programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate early with project planners, commercial managers and senior construction managers to align logistics activities with the build programme.
• Develop and maintain complex logistics plans, analysing data from multiple sources and using Lean principles.
• Manage material receiving, SAP transactions and store operations, ensuring accurate goods receipt.
• Plan and programme site set‑up, including accommodation, parking, security turnstiles and internal/external logistics routes.
• Organise off‑site staging areas for intermediate deliveries when required.
• Oversee the use of key assets such as hoists and ensure sequencing optimises site positioning.
• Support the supply chain both upstream and downstream to avoid constraints on the project schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing logistics on fast‑track construction sites.
• Strong ability to anticipate issues and resolve them using internal and external resources.
• Excellent analytical skills to consolidate information and develop logistics strategies.
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
