Local Product Manager Transaction Services (VP/Director)

About the role

ING is looking for a Local Product Manager for Transaction Services (TS) in its Wholesale Banking business in Belgium. The role drives the local implementation of TS solutions so that ING becomes a leading and innovative TS network bank in Europe, and sits within the Business Development team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the local implementation of TS solutions and identify opportunities to improve the TS offering and the customer experience, from pre-sales through onboarding to ongoing client management, in line with financial TS KPIs.
• Own risk management: assess and mitigate financial and non-financial risk while operating standardized business processes.
• Work with the rest of the Business Development team and collaborate across borders with the local head of TS, Global TS Product Managers, TS Sales/Coverage and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance).
• At least 5 years of relevant in-depth experience in TS products, preferably covering Payments, Channels, Cash & Liquidity and Trade Finance.
• Experience in Front and/or Middle Office TS is valued; the VP/Director level depends on prior experience.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive projects with many stakeholders, with a strong client and commercial focus and understanding of technical requirements.
• Excellent English; French and/or Dutch is a plus.
