Linux System Engineer – Enterprise Directory & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Linux System Engineer to manage and enhance our enterprise directory services and Linux infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical backend systems while collaborating on migration and automation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
• Administer Oracle Directory Server and OpenLDAP environments, handling replication, schema, backups, restores, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance, proactively resolve technical issues, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and optimise automation scripts using Bash, KSH, or Perl.
• Manage incidents, changes, documentation, and operational procedures following ITIL best practices.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, platform migrations, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional UNIX/Linux administration experience in an enterprise setting.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional working proficiency in English and French.
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
