Legal Advisor – Data & AI Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to guide our company through the legal complexities of data and artificial intelligence projects. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with GDPR, the AI Act, and emerging responsible AI standards while supporting business teams with clear, actionable advice.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure GDPR and AI Act compliance for all data and AI initiatives.
• Provide legal guidance to business units on the permissible use of data and AI technologies.
• Participate in data and AI governance processes, identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Develop and implement practical risk‑mitigation measures aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to embed compliance into project lifecycles.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven practical experience with GDPR and the AI Act.
• Experience in telecom or other data‑intensive sectors is desirable.
• Strong ability to translate legal requirements into clear business recommendations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Responsible AI concepts such as bias, fairness, explainability, and model drift monitoring.
• Familiarity with AI risk assessment tools, model cards, and related documentation.
