Learning Solutions Expert

About the role

Based in Mons, Belgium, the Learning Solutions Expert will join the NATO Communications and Information Agency’s NCI Academy to drive the integration of education and training into new NATO capabilities. The role supports NATO’s Digital Endeavour by ensuring that training is designed alongside capability development from the earliest stages.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a “Training by Design” approach, collaborating with HQ Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, business areas, acquisition teams and the CTO.
• Provide training input for early capability development documents such as Capability Requirement Briefs, Capability Program Plans, Price Proposals, Invitations for Bid and Statements of Work.
• Support the rollout of new NATO capabilities with dedicated training design activities.
• Coordinate Training by Design activities across the three NCI Academy domains: Cyber Defense and Emerging Technologies, Command and Control Functional Services, and Communications and Deployable Systems Training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in a relevant field.
• Experience in learning solution design, training development, or related areas within defence or large‑scale organisations.
• Familiarity with NATO acquisition processes and capability development lifecycle.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with multiple stakeholders across NATO.
